Mimzy stared into his ocher eyes, basking in the glory of his perfect face. She traced his bulky but beautiful jaw line with her eyes, then his slender but glorious lips. She allowed her eyes to wander to his perfect bushy brows and his sleek ebony hair that fell over the side of his face like a trim of raven feathers.

"You're so witty..." she whispered, afraid to speak loudly, afraid to ruin this wonderful moment. His strong arms wrapped firmly around her waist, she felt as if time had stood still, just for their love, as if they were frozen on a stage- the ideal image of Romeo and his beloved Juliet.

He brushed the stray hairs from her endearing face tenderly, placing a gentle kiss to her forehead. “I love you more than I love my dog.” He murmured in his smooth, sexy voice. Mimzy blushed profusely at the comment- astounded by his affection towards her- an average little girl from California.

A silence befell the couple, as if signalling the time was right. Rising upon her tippy-toes, she rose to meet his lips in what she thought may be the most magical moment of her life…that’s when she drove the stake through his perfect chest into his itty bitty heart.

Jumping back as his body convulsed in a fashion worthy of today’s horror movies, she waited for the paralysis to set in before sawing each limb off with a rusty pocket knife. This proved to be quite a feat, but she had time.

Once that was over with, she lathered the blood on her hands and whistled a sweet tune and then rubbed the drying blood off on her skirt. Dragging a couple of logs from nearby and gathering a nice pile of dried leaves, she lit the matches she had oh so cleverly hid in her pigtails and created a great bonfire.

Smiling merrily, she turned on her heel and skipped over to the decapitated body. Starting with the head, she threw each part into the bonfire until the smoke began glittering with left-over residue from the Meyerpire’s body.

She decided to leave the fire burning- the rain would eventually smother the flames.

“Bye Pete! You were always were a sucky kisser!” She grinned, showing off a set of sharp, pearly canines before walking toward the little town. Forks High School was having a blood drive.
