1. What stereotype does Seymour portray when he first tries singing his heart-song?
Uh. He's a hip-hop singing penguin?
2. List at least five stereotypes found in the movie.
I saw no stereotypes. If you mean the choice of voice actors so the main characters voices stand out, then that's what it is: Distinction from every other penguin through their voices because they all look the same. You know, because penguins tend to look EXACTLY like each other.
3. Explain why the stereotypes you listed are stereotypes.
Sorry, this topic just makes me want to rip my hair out. I can't stand it.
4. Do you think stereotypes like these are acceptable for a children's movie? Why or why not?
Well, as you can tell from the obvious sarcasm, I find this whole "OMG kidz movies r soooo racist!1111!!!1" thing as a joke.
Seriously people? Seriously? Unless you sit with the kid and point out every "Stereotype" every five seconds to your kids, they don't even
notice it. They are movies. Jeez.

If your asking, yes, that is a real paper for my Freshman Foundatons class. And yes, those were my real awnsers.
I'm expecting an F. I don't care though, it's expressing my opinion on that bullshit claim.
Done ranting now.

I think they're trying to get you to mention that the "Mexican" penguins were short and thought invaluable things were valuable. Or maybe that the old penguins were repressive. But it's a GOOD MOVIE. Wtf. The heart-song thing wasn't even relevant, there IS no stereotype in that.

I failed it, of course. xD;
I know they are but I think they are reading into it TOO much. Like, dude, seriously? If I didn't have to look for those things, I would never have noticed them in the first place. /:
